Come and join the party at this unique festival of music, crafts, storytelling and discussion from African countries marking their independence days this autumn.
The 12-hour programme includes:
Music: Afrosounds (Angola); Liran Donin (Morocco); Lekan Babalola (Nigeria); DJ Soesen Edan.
Family craft workshops on jewellery and maskmaking, led by Afro-Kubanza.
Exhibition of cloths and table decorations by Turiyang Deco.
Talks, lectures and discussions on a variety of topics from post-colonial arts to personal reminiscences on independence.
